Clarification requested
[edit]What is the difference between Rural Municipality of St. François Xavier and St. François Xavier, Manitoba? Is one located within the other? Are they neighbors? St. François Xavier, Manitoba was moved to the RM article in March 2012, but appears to have been subsequently revived. If there is a distinction/relationship between the two, it would help if that were clearly stated. Cheers. Manannan67 (talk) 18:13, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
-- St. Francois Xavier is one of the old Metis settlements from circa 1820 and is now within the rural municipality by that name. I think a separate page is required. -- Kayoty (talk) 19:07, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- A similar situation exists with the Rural Municipality of Gimli and the Town of Gimli. Jimj wpg (talk) 20:40, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
