– The 'Rupununi' article contains information on both the Rupununi River (a major river in Guyana) and the Rupununi region which is a geographical region of Guyana (and was, prior to the 1980 administrative reforms an administrative region as well). These two things should be separate. Rupununi savannah (which is a distinct eco-region within the Rupununi region) should then be merged into the 'Rupununi (region)' article, once it is created. 'Rupununi River' currently exists as a redirect to the 'Rupununi' article, so the redirect needs to be removed in order for the Rupununi River article to be created. - Oppose I understand what you're trying to do, but that's not necessary. The redirect Rupununi River doesn't need to be deleted for an article on the river to be created. Just click Rupununi River and edit. Anyone can do it. Is the river not in the Rupununi region? Unless they're in separate places, it's appropriate for this to remain an article on the region with separate articles on the river and the savannah. --BDD (talk) 05:16, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Terrible map!
[edit]The map that supposedly shows us where the Rupununi River is in Guyana is terrible!
After you search all over the map you finally find the label "Rupununi" on the lower left of the highlighted (darkened) region. But then it is impossible to tell where the rest of it is, since the labels are entirely unclear.50.205.142.50 (talk) 20:00, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
