typo?
[edit]Is the Macon (LCU 2003) the only one of her 35 sister ships with the prefix USAT, instead of USAV? Or is this an error? - thewolfchild 06:58, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
I corrected it because it is USAV for "US Army Vessel" and I have actually been on board the Macon.
I was stationed on board the Runnymede and the Aldie for a number of deployments in the late '90s early 2000s and this class of LCU was always called the "2000 class LCU" , therefore the hull numbers starting with 2001 and up. Why does this page call them the Runnymede-class? Runnymede is only the name of the first one built. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.97.49.213 (talk) 22:43, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
