UAC impersonating another user?
[edit]From the article: but neither runas nor UAC is sudo; rather, they fully impersonate another user rather than just adding privileges That's true for runas, but for UAC? It may not be exactly the same as sudo, but it does not impersonate any other user and it does raise execution level to admin. Very easy to test: for example just run cmd as admin (by right clicking "Command Prompt" and selecting "Run as Administrator") and the UAC prompt pops up; then in the command prompt, "SET username" and one can see the user name is the same who invoked cmd. Adding citation needed, fixing soon if citation missing.90.168.202.221 (talk) 01:14, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- Yip, that's pretty badly worded and misleading too. Socrates2008 (Talk) 09:55, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
