I am Rudy Willams' daughter, Fess Williams' grandaughter and Charles Mingus' cousin. The info in this article about my dad is inaccurate. He was born in 1917 (Winchester, KY) and he passed away on 2/7/2000 in Long Island, NY which is where he live for many years. My cousin Charles passed away before my dad did. My grandfather, Fess passed away on 12/17/1975.
