Disposition

[edit]

The fixed stars of TR are divided into 3 parts:

  1. "Pars Tychonis" 1006 *s
  2. "Pars Ptolemaici" ~330 *s, spurious or real,
  3. "Pars Bayeri" 188, real but bad positions.

See Star catalogue in The Rudolphine Tables, where TR currently resides. ... said: Rursus (mbork³) 18:09, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Refraction

[edit]

In the article on Tycho, it is said that Tycho did consider refraction in some degree. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.147.67.194 (talk) 09:28, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In Tycho Brahe#Tycho's observational astronomy, it says "the very first tables". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.95.249.25 (talk) 09:39, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
In this article, Rudolphine tables#Publication, it says, "the first to include corrective factors for atmospheric refraction". The Rudolphine tables were published in 1627, after Tycho died in 1601. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.95.249.25 (talk) 09:43, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
