[edit]Does anyone have access to the complete movie credits? Whoopi Goldberg clearly does NOT sing the song "I Hate Santa Claus," though she voices the part of Stormella. On the soundtrack CD, the producers almost go out of their way to obscure this fact - leaving off credits for the song and omitting Goldberg's name from the credits altogether. Plot section rewrite
[edit]The "Plot" section of this article seems much too detailed / too long. I added the "Plot" template ("This article's plot summary may be too long or excessively detailed...") to the article today. I am not familiar with this movie but here is my attempt at shortening the Plot summary based on the existing description:
- Rudolph, a reindeer born with an abnormal glowing red nose grows up being taunted about it by most other reindeer and eventually runs away from school and from the doe of his dreams, Zoey. Later, after being disqualified at the "Reindeer Games," Rudolph runs away from Santa's village completely. Zoey, goes after him but gets caught by the evil Ice Queen, Stormella. Rudolph and friends try to save Zoey but get captured themselves, then escape and get chased to the edge of a cliff by the Ice Queen and her wolves. Rudolph blinds the Ice Queen with his nose, then saves her life and ensures her conversion from evil to good. An unstoppable magic blizzard (originally created by Stormella) still rages and threatens to ground Santa's sleigh on Christmas eve, cancelling Christmas. Upon the heroes' return to Santa's Village, Santa asks Rudolph - with his glowing nose - to lead the sleigh through the storm. Rudolph accepts and Christmas is saved.
Perhaps someone with better knowledge of the film can use / edit / completely re-write (?) this shorter summary to replace the current, overly detailed plot???

Writing style
[edit]I don't know, but doesn't some of this stuff make it sound like a teen comic soap opera. for example: "Years later, Rudolph has reached adolescence and is about to take part in the Junior Reindeer Games. Zoey gives her pendant to Rudolph to bring him good fortune, much to the chagrin of Arrow, who is now in a relationship with Zoey. During the event known as The Sleigh Race, Arrow cheats so he may be chosen to become a Flyer (one of the reindeer who pulls Santa Claus's sleigh), so he crashes into the other competitors and then trash talks Rudolph, making his nose gleam and blind Arrow. Rudolph wins the race, but is disqualified by the referee because his glowing nose is considered cheating and makes Arrow winner by default. The disqualification of Rudolph infuriates both Blitzen and Zoey, who confronts Arrow for cheating and ends their relationship. (and then Arrow started dating Selena gomez :-) )"CharlieBrown25 (talk) 06:58, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
