While difficult I managed to find these (not sure about their weight on establishing notability but I will post them here for others to assess):
[1][2][3]. Calaka (talk) 12:43, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I added a slightly more official looking UN document to the article, but we do need more, and sources from Apne Aap are not considered impartial. Favonian (talk) 12:49, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree more refs are needed. I am not having much luck on Google. The fact that she got to speak and have those lectures makes me think she is notable but then the info wouldn't be so sparse on the new would it? Anyway it doesn't help that the user decided to go ahead and remove the deletion tag. Calaka (talk) 13:02, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's the user's privilege according to The Rules, but I slapped his/her wrist for not providing an edit summary explaining why the PROD was removed. Favonian (talk) 13:14, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I thought they weren't allowed to remove the tag (similar to CSD). My bad!
In other news, he posted this link [4] but from quickly glancing it I am not sure at how useful it would be in helping the article out.Calaka (talk) 13:25, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cyberbot II has detected links on Ruchira Gupta which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. The addition will be logged at one of these locations: local or global
If you believe the specific link should be exempt from the blacklist, you may request that it is white-listed. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally.
When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags.
Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.
Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:
