[edit]Hello - apologies if I'm doing this wrong, but thought we may want to add to this page about the Royal Air Force Memorial: the text on the memorial reads "Per Ardua Ad Astra" which is the RAF's motto and is explained link here. Bethmenzies (talk) 18:42, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Material
[edit]I added a stone sculpture category due to the pylon (feel free to remove if pylon is not considered sculpture), but we may also add a category for the material of the eagle. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:01, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
Unveiling
[edit]this photo from 1923 is listed as having a CC licence. I am not convinced about this. Anyone know if the image originates from somewhere else? JMiall₰ 20:32, 3 April 2015 (UTC)
