Rowlands Gill may not have a pub, but it does have a library. Dominie 15:42, 18 September 2006 (UTC) It is a very boring vllage to live in - John Brown —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.145.242.140 (talk) 22:21, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
This just sounds like a tourist information site. Where is the extensive info on the area's history, its politics? I'm going to add info on local government, but when compared to articles on nearby areas such as Crawcrook or Ryton it's lacking. - hedpeguyuk - 23 January 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.137.119.250 (talk) 10:23, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Please stop changing the name of the village. It's Rowlands Gill. It's not Rowland's Gill, much less Rowlands' Gill. Also, the tone of the article has been changed to become extremely touristy and 'quaint'. Doesn't read like an encyclopaedia at all anymore. --Betong Åsna (talk) 20:15, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Some older versions of the page look more encyclopaedic to me. Maybe some text can be cribbed from the page's history. I don't feel comfortable doing that myself though - I don't know the place well enough (and I'm a newbie). Geordiecoder (talk) 22:43, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
