problem with illustration
[edit]I couldn't make sense of the illustration shown (Gastric_Bypass,_Roux_en-Y.jpg) until I looked at diagrams elsewhere found via an image search. It seems to me that the problem is that the illustration does not show the "Y". The Y should be formed with the cut end of the intestine below the duodenum, but instead in this image that cut end is floating free and not attached to anything. If a better illustration can't be found, then the caption should explain that this illustrates a half-complete operation and the Y has not yet been formed by doing the attachment. --R. S.
