Expanding Article
[edit]OK, I am going to take a shot at expanding this article beyond a stub. Sources are going to be a bit scarce, and I could use some help if there are any takers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eskimo.the (talk • contribs) 17:41, 8 July 2010 (UTC) --The Eskimo 17:47, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
New Version Complete -Sources
[edit]OK, the new and (hopefully) improved verion is up. I am going back and forth between the Pearl River Water District website and the Rezonate.com web page for sources. I am not really familiar with how to source info just yet, but I will figure it out. If anybody is wanted to revert because of no sourcing please, please give me 24 hours to get the sources in before you do anything! --The Eskimo 18:35, 8 July 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eskimo.the (talk • contribs)
Ready to Roll
[edit]Think I've got the page a little closer to non-stub status. A couple of good sources and external links are provided as well. Now I just need to expand a bit. I'd like to see section about flood control added to the history section since Jackson has had a few major floods since the Rez was built, and some people point to the Rez as a problem and/or solution to flood control. Also maybe some specific numbers about the actual function of the Rez, as far as outflow, water depth, seasonal trends, etc, and maybe something about the water quality since it is a public water source. Wildlife would also be a good section. Anyone willing to help would be much appreciated. I have been looking at the Lake Tahoe article for some direction on how a good article looks. --The Eskimo 19:27, 8 July 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eskimo.the (talk • contribs)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Ross Barnett Reservoir. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080820045343/http://www.rampupridgeland.com/getinvolved/history.php to http://www.rampupridgeland.com/getinvolved/history.php
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
