[edit]Hi everyone! I am a new editor for Wikipedia and still getting the hang of this. I am looking into using this page as a part of my project I am doing for school. I was thinking that to improve this page I could add some history of events that have taken place at Ross's Landing and going into more detail of the meaning of it. Thanks so much. Regarding revert of major copyedit
[edit]Unfortunately, @Erinanorton:, you cannot claim ownership of the article, as you did with this edit. Feel free to add your additional information, but do not revert other people's good-faith contributions to any article, especially without explaining your reasons. The copyedit I made addressed several concerns with article, including: coatracking; Wikipedia Manual of Style issues; duplication of information and references; poorly narrated statements; grammatical issues; problems with wikification; link-farming; etc.
Wikipedia works by consensus, meaning agreement between editors: I respect your contributions, you respect mine. To totally revert a good faith edit that does not violate any Wikipedia policy, protocols, or original research parameters is not only poor form, but could be construed as vandalism.
