Ashley Pope/Ashley Pugh

[edit]

Re this edit, I am going by the CD booklet, which definitely lists the name as Ashley Pugh, not Pope. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time that liner notes contain a typographical error. If you have good reason to believe that the name is misspelled in the booklet, please explain the background below. Cheers, --JN466 11:46, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, yes you are correct this is a typographical error. There was a second small CD run which had the amended and correct name of Ashley Pope written in the sleeve. Ashley has worked with Jim Eliot from Kish Mauve as part of NAPT which is documented here on Wikipedia and online, this is the same partnership that worked on Rosies "Heartbreak". I know that you do not have the evidence there in front of you but I assure you the writer I have written on the CD I have is Ashley Pope and not Ashley Pugh.

In addition there is no myspace/facebook/twitter/website etc for the writer "Ashley Pugh" who wrote Rosie And The Goldbugs "Heartbreak". Again I know this is not conclusive but I hope this also goes some way in proving that Ashley Pugh is a typographical error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Christof123 (talkcontribs) 15:18, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, sounds good, and a search for Kish Mauve and Ashley Pope certainly brings up matches consistent with the above. Thanks for explaining, and sorry for the reverts. Cheers, --JN466 20:27, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
