Fair use rationale for Image:Rosemead seal.jpg
[edit]Image:Rosemead seal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wal-Mart and politics
[edit]The section isn't right. See http://articles.latimes.com/2005/mar/10/local/me-walmart10 The two candidates whose names are not mentioned are Polly Low and John Tran. Also, John Nunez also got in because of anti-Wal-Mart sentiment. The total spent by Wal-Mart is also not correct, though it was probably just the timing of everything. http://cal-access.ss.ca.gov/Campaign/Committees/Detail.aspx?id=1013468&view=contributions&session=2005 As I remember it, they spent over $400,000 then. The Times didn't write a good article. The gist of my point - sentiment against Wal-Mart led to a lot of activity against it, and resulted in a lot of political activity. See also the Save Our Community blog http://saveourcommunity.us/node/201 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.192.87.10 (talk) 17:46, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Also, another aspect is that later, Stephen Ly got in as a pro-Wal-Mart candidate. It might also be noted that the main organization opposing was the HOA at Amber Wood townhouses across the street, when the HOA president Larry Bevington organized to oppose the City Council deciding to pay for a $250,000 sign on the freeway, as a perk to Wal-Mart. That is what got the ball rolling to build an opposition. BTW, this is John Kawakami writing this. I was involved in opposing the project, in Save Our Community. (I wrote the paragraph above, too.) 12.192.87.10 (talk) 18:03, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]These buildings additionally depicted in the infobox are in fact in San Gabriel:
- Garvey, Rosemead, CA, USA - panoramio (220).jpg and
- Garvey, Rosemead, CA, USA - panoramio (60).jpg,
The file names are wrong. No problem about this, but here is not the right page to display them. I remove them from the infobox. ThomasPusch (talk) 13:08, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
