Involved in Albania?

In the Laura Ingalls Wilder page it says Rose was involved with Albania, but there is no mention of that here. Can anyone add info? BrainyBabe 23:28, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Libertarian needlework

"Lane wrote an immensely popular book detailing the history of American needlework (with a strong libertarian undercurrent) for Woman's Day". What was it about her history of needlework that had a strong libertarian undercurrent? IPTF (talk) 23:38, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Albania info added..

Some background on Lane's love for Albania and the Albanian people has been added.

Soviet Union

The "after seeing it practised in the Soviet Union" intrigued me. Did Rose Wilder Lane visit the USSR at some point? What were her political leanings before then? --Saforrest 05:16, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Lane visited the USSR as part of her Red Cross Work post WWI - the realities of life in the communist state removed any previous inclinations toward communism. She wrote of this transition eloquently and thoroghly explained her thought process both "Credo" and "The Discovery of Freedom".

She had more than an inclination towards towards communism, she described herself as "convinced", why no mention? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.255.99.38 (talk) 21:48, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Not so controversial collaboration

I renamed the section "A controversial collaboration" to "Literary collaboration", and reworded the first sentence to remove the word "controversy" there too. In most Wikipedia articles, "controversy" is used in connection with criticism of the subject, so I thought the title misleading, it suggests a collaboration that alienated some of her supporters or something like that, which is not the case.—Graf Bobby 16:42, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Esperanto ?

Was Lane ever an Esperantist? Does anyone know? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.60.55.9 (talk) 03:37, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
