Working on the Page
[edit]Hello! I am working on this article as part of an assignment and I wanted to make anyone interested aware of what I intend to do and why and to solicit any comments or questions on the subject. I am a MA student in English at VCU and am in the Intertexuality class associated with the WikiEducation class of the same name. My main goals to update this article is to prune the plot summary closer to the guidelines that is on the meta page Wikipedia:Plot-only description of fictional works. I also intend to fill out the critical reception portion, critical comparisons of this work by McKinley and her other book on the same subject published first: Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast , and if possible add a section on the author's thoughts or intentions with doing the same work twice if I can find reliable sources.
