Sourcing
[edit]Can documentary films be used as sources? I'm wondering because there's a really good documentary film by John Cohen about Holcomb and other Appalacian musicians. Night Ranger (talk) 17:22, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Burial
[edit]According to findagrave, he is buried at the Arch Halcomb Cemetery in Perry County: [1]. The d-o-b is off by one year, and the date of death is off by three weeks, but it would be a remarkable coincidence if there were two noted Perry County banjo players born "Roscoe Halcomb" within exactly one year of each other, and died three weeks apart.
