– No clear primary topic, the wine has 12,492 views but the singer has 51,460, the drag queen has 2,092, the song has 99, the album has 50 and the surname has 13[[1]]. The wine may be primary by long-term significance though so its probably best to disambiguate. The DAB page should probably per merged with Rose (disambiguation) per WP:DABCOMBINE as English readers don't generally know much about diacritics. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:49, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- There was also discussion at Talk:Rosé#Primary topic? where Schwede66 and Jonathanischoice apparently disagreed. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:52, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose, per long-term significance. Furthermore, Rose/Rosé is sufficiently disambiguated, per WP:SMALLDETAILS. 162 etc. (talk) 19:23, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Rosé the wine is clearly the long-term primary topic. --Cerebral726 (talk) 21:39, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- Neutral: I have no strong opinion either way. If we do shift it then I agree that we should probably merge the disambiguation pages for Rosé and Rose. — Jon (talk) 23:10, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
- https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Ros%C3%A9 indicates quite a lot of organic traffic, 18.5k incoming views, 1.4k outgoing to 36 identified destinations, and while the hatnote is in top 10 it's just 63 identified clickstreams (0.3%), so the argument that readers are not being navigated well enough to those two people is not really supported by data. Most likely the search engines do the short-circuiting based on context here. Besides, the wine is generally well known, so it seems probable that the readers are not astonished that the popular singer's title is disambiguated because it's natural to distinguish these anyway.
As usual I'm raising an eyebrow at how it takes two clicks to get to Rosé (surname), but the overall interest is generally low (cf. mass views for surname). --Joy (talk) 08:38, 21 November 2023 (UTC) - Oppose. The wine is the very clear primary topic by long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:43, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose Per others, the long-term significance criteria wins out here. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 14:28, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
