Page moves
[edit]Three page moves in 80 minutes, without fixing double redirects, equals one big mess. "Rory Ó Moore", the last of these, probably has the distinction of being the one version of the name that will never come up on a Google search. Since I was not permitted to move the article back to any of its previous titles, I have had to make up a new one. Please open a requested move if you want it moved again. March of the King of Laois?
[edit]The link says that "This ancient melody has been associated with the O'Moore family and may have been composed in praise of one Ruairi Og O Mordha, a head of the family during the 16th century" so it was written long before Rory O'Moore was born. Plus Rory never claimed to be a king of Laois. G. Gavan Duffy was not a professional unbiased historian, though he was prolific.86.42.203.176 (talk) 15:42, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
- Rory O'More king of Laois qualifies as the 1500s clan chieftain, not the 1641 leader. I think they're both muddled up all the time.PatrickGuinness (talk) 15:52, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
