reversion of edit by Davidwalkeden
[edit]A new user called Davidwalkeden has inserted the following paragraph:
He also wrote a book he called "The Blooding" that, in his own words from a letter to my father in January 1978, "...deals entirely with World War I and the events that befell the young Ronald Adam from the age of 17 and a half to 22 and a half". He also comments in the letter that "maybe - only maybe - one of the six grandchildren may pick up one of my scripts and say 'well, well is that what it was like in the old b*****d's time' "
Although this sounds as if it is all true, there seems to be no trace of the publication of the book. In the absence of a WP:RS it is necessary to delete the paragraph. As the letter's date is only just over a year before Adam's death, the likeliest explanation is that the book was never submitted to a publisher. There the matter must rest unless Davidwalkeden can either produce published evidence for what he says, or perhaps, better still, contact Adam's family and get them to find the book and publish it (as it would surely have a market).
