Ron Stockin
[edit]In June 2021 Ron was presented with a 1953-54 Football League Division One Championship Medal by Wolverhampton Wanderers following a change in the rules. The matter was originally raised by football historian Ian Ross but it was David Instone, editor of the Wolves Heroes website who not only tracked Ron down but also managed to alert the club that he could now qualify for a belated title medal after 67 years! The EFL duly obliged and just before his 90th birthday he finally got 31.125.242.243 (talk) 20:03, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
