Leroy Vinnegar?

[edit]

I really don't understand how Leroy Vinnegar rates a mention with Carter and Brown, unless some big Leroy Vinnegar fan added this.

Missing album

[edit]

I'm not a Wikipedia pro, or would fix this myself. I notice an album is missing in the Miles Davis section: Live at the 1963 Monterey Jazz Festival. There's a Wikipedia article on the album, listing Ron Carter as bassist. Ron Carter discography

[edit]

Support split - Discography section takes up more than one half of the page, and should be split to a new article entitled Ron Carter discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 04:38, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Treme

[edit]
Carter appeared as himself in an episode of the HBO series Treme entitled "What Is New Orleans"

I could swear it was more than one episode. Am I wrong? The way I recall it, he was in the New York recording studio episode, followed by the New Orleans recording session episode. Viriditas (talk) 20:06, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
