Box office

Oddly BoxOfficeMojo.com has no box office results for this even though The Huffington Post says it was to be released in 2000 theatres. Can anyone help me find box office results.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 16:57, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Since it was a live simulcast it probably didn't have a distributor, so the chances are the figures haven't been released by the play's producers. If you look at the Valentine Day rankings there is no listing for it. Betty Logan (talk) 23:55, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Crisco 1492, Almost missed your comment because it was on the wrong page. "Adaptation" vs production

If the show presents Shakespeare's text, it is a theatrical production, in this case apparently in modern dress. An adaptation, modernizes the text, rearranges its sequences perhaps or changes it in essential ways. Apparently this was a production, but I have no experience of it in either form.
