What anti-Catholic sentiment of the Serbian kings?

[edit]

This article baldly claims that Serbian kings had anti Catholic sentiment, although medieval Serbia was multi confessional and Catholic churches were built throughout of Serbia with Latins, Ragusans, Saxons and Venetians living freely in Serbia. Catholic soldiers were ranked highly in Serbian medieval military. Many Serbian princesses and princes were married to Catholic aristocracy from Croatia to German Lands. Article even claims that Trebinje Diocese was put under suffrage of Diocese of Kotor which was also in Serbia under Eastern Orthodox Serbian Kings. How come Kotor Diocese was free from anti Catholic sentiment but Trebinje Diocese was not? I believe that this article is just one of hundred of articles about Serbs on English Wikipedia that is full of false anti Serbian statements that fuel hatred towards Serbs among Croats who are most interested in this subject and who are most likely to read it. False claims that are used to justify anti Serbianism in Croatia and Bosnia and present inter-ethnic relations in Bosnia as mutual hatred which supposedly stem from deep in past hiding the fact that paradigm of inter ethnic relations in this part of world was changed in 20th century with brutal anti serbian racism. Serbian kings were not anti catholic. Remove this claim if you dont have proofs. 109.245.34.2 (talk) 01:27, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
