When was the town founded?
[edit]I lived in Douglas for many years and graduated there in 1966. I've never heard of this town. Was it a product of the energy boom of the '70's??? Glacierman 03:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- The development came about as part of the boom. The town incorporated in 1984 as a means for the residents to be able to get sustainable water, as the developer had minimal water availability from the 2 wells originally available. Another reason for the town to incorporate was to help in upkeep of the roads to keep the school bus running on them as opposed to the kids having to go to the highway to be picked up. 72.175.206.174 (talk) 21:43, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
