[edit]I deleted the part about Muddy Waters because he was actually born in Issaquena County. ~staple_gun, resident of Rolling Fork. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.240.45.183 (talk) 08:17, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- I deleted him again. It's pretty well-documented he was born in nearby "Jug's Corner" in Issaquena County. Richard Apple (talk) 19:13, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
In 1955, many surrounding farms grew cotton, which was harvested by workers dragging long, cotton-collecting bags. Troskey 02:04, 12 April 2007 (UTC) GTT
I added Muddy waters back because he was a resident of Rolling Fork, we know this form direct stories received form his brother who was a lifelong resident of rolling fork. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.98.28.250 (talk) 19:24, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
Muddy Waters was born in Rolling Fork, he says so himself in the documentary Gunsmoke Blues. (You can find it on YouTube; Timestamp: 30:52). I'm not going to edit the article because I don't know how to cite the film. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MonotoneCreeper (talk • contribs) 19:54, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
The name?
[edit]The name of this place seems rather peculiar. Could someone explain where it comes from?

- @Franciscus montmartinensis: According to this source, it is named "Rolling Fork" because of the swiftness of the water at a fork in the creek there. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:48, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
