Clarify "whole" oats

remove "further"

dubious editor, scrutable edits

User:184.187.14.181 has recently added the same gibberish fifteen times now to another article (Battlement), so I'm curious about whether those of you who know something about rolled oats have an opinion on the recent sweeping changes of the word rolled to either milled or whole. —Tamfang (talk) 01:19, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Conjecture supported by bogus citations

"Saving its nutritional values destroyed during cooking." cites a paper, the entire focus of which is about the stability of fortification additions to food and is inappropriate. Additionally this paper makes no mention of oats. In oatcakes?

I've never seen oatcakes with rolled oats, only with oat meal (i.e. ground rather than rolled). Where can we see these rolled-oat oatcakes? Maybe this is just that frequent confusion in which someone colloquially calls rolled oats "oatmeal" and has no word for ground-up oats.
