Was Noskwith classified as a soldier or civilian?
[edit]Rudd, Bramwell PhD. Editor Noskwith Private Papers (2017) Rolf Noskwith was never, at any time, a soldier. He was a civilian working on cryptology and translation at Bletchley Park from 1941-1945. He stayed at the future GCHQ until joining the family business, CHARNOS, in late 1946.
