BHARKURIA VILLAGE UNDER SAKLA BAZAR PANCHAYAT OF ROHTAS DISTRICT IN BIHAR
[edit]THERE ARE THREE VILLAGEs IN ROHTAS DISTRICT WHICH HAVE BEEN NAMED AS "BHARKURIA". BUT ABOUT WHICH VILLAGE, I AM WRITING THIS PASSAGE, IS LOCATED IN 'SAKLA BAZAR' PANCHAYAT ABOUT 20 KILOMETERs FROM BIKRAMGANJ CITY IN EAST DIRECTION AND SURROUNDED BY VILLAGEs NAMELY DANWAR (IN EAST), KECHUA (IN WEST), LEWAN (IN SOUTH) AND DODHADIH (IN NORTH).
'BHARKURIA' VILLAGE HAS A HIGHLY FERTILE AGRICULTURAL LAND AND ITS PEOPLE ARE VERY INOCENT AND HARD WORKING SINCE BEGINING. IT WAS A VERY PEACEFUL VILLAGE OF THE AREA WHERE CITIZEN OF TWO RELEGION ie. HINDU AND MUSLIM ARE RESIDING IN ECO-FREINDLY MANNER SINCE BEGINING. THIS VILLAGE HAS A MAJOR POPULATION OF "BHUMIHAR" CAST, HOWEVER, RAJPUT, KANU, TELI, CHAMAR, DUSHADH, MUSLIM, YADAV AND RAJWAR CASTS ARE ALSO RESIDENT.
FARMING IS THE MAIN MEANS OF LIVING OF THIS VILLAGE. AREA OF THE VILLAGE IS ABOUT 500 ACRs. CITIZEN OF THIS VILLAGE ARE NOT SO EDUCATED, HOWEVER, FEW FAMILY HAS A VERY DEVELOPED FAMILY STRUCTURE. VILLAGE HAS A MIDDLE SCHOOL, WHICH IS UPTO 8TH CLASS BUT DUE TO THE WRONG EDUCATION POLICY OF BIHAR GOVERNMENT, IT IS JUST TO END. CHILDREN OF THIS POOR VILLAGE HAVE NO MEANS OF EDUCATION, NOW.
TILL NOW, THIS VILLAGE HAS NOT BEEN LINKED WITH ANY TYPES OF ROADS ie. EITHER BY KACHA ROAD OR BY PUCCA ROAD. THIS VILLAGE HAS NO ROAD AND HOSPITAL. POVERTY IS AT PARAMOUNT. CITIZENS ARE BECOMING JEWELIOUS WITH EACH OTHERS. THERE IS NO LIGHT IN THE VILLAGE AND THERE IS A ABSOLUTELY NO DEVELOPMENT IN THIS VILLAGE SINCE INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA.
I BORN IN THIS VILLAGE IN JULY 1972 AND SINCE THEN I FOUND THIS VILLAGE IN SAME SHAPE AND BEHAVIOUR. FARMERS ARE HELPLESS BECAUSE THEIR PRODUCTS ARE NOT BEING SOLD DUE TO NON AVAILABILITY OF MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION FROM THIS VILLAGE. BROKERS ARE PAYING LOW PAYMENT OF THEIR PRODUCT. PEOPLE HAVE SERIOUS DISEASE, DIE AT HOME BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO GO OUT OF VILLAGE DURING THE MONTH OF JULY TO OCTOBER.
FEW CITIZEN OF THIS VILLAGE HAVE GOT GOVERNMENT SERVICES ie. ARMY, AIR FORCE, NAVY, POLICE AND OTHER FOURTH CLASS SERVICES. WHENEVER THEY VISIT THEIR HOME, THEY COMPARE THIS WITH OTHER PARTS OF COUNTRY AND FOUND IT IN MISERABLE CONDITIONS. 90% POPULATION OF THIS VILLAGE IS NOT AWARE OF THEIR RIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS COUNTRY AND SOCIETY. THEY HAVE EVEN NOT SEEN THEIR DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS AND BLOCK OFFICE.
MUKHIYA AND SARPANCH OF THIS PANCHAT HAVE GOLDEN TIME SINCE 1954, AND IT CAN BE SEEN THAT ALL BUDGET WHICH HAS BEEN PROVIDED FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA OR THIS VILLAGE HAVE WENT IN THE POCKET OF MUKHIYA OR THE CONCERNED DISTRICT OFFICIALS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT PEOPLE OF THIS VILLAGE OR AREA ARE ILLITERATE AND THEY DO NOT KNOW, HOW TO LODGE THEIR COMPLAINT.
GOVERNMENT OF INDIA AND GOVERNMENT OF BIHAR SHOULD DRAW THEIR KIND ATTENTION TOWARDS THIS VILLAGE, AND THE VILLAGERS OF THIS VILLAGE, BE PROVIDED WITH THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY OF DEVELOPMENT LIKE OTHER PARTS OF COUNTRY. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.54.250.187 (talk) 09:37, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
