The section regarding the "discrimination against Rohingya refugees" seems to lack NPOV. It only highlights the criticisms of the public denouncement of the "refugees" but does not clarify that the government is "cracking down" on the illegal entry and not the one's seeking asylum through the appropriate laws. The paragraph implies that while the BJP are requesting the removal of all Rohingyas (Not NPOV). It also implies that the BJP have stopped the influx of Rohingya refugees when the statistics show that they have more than doubled since 2014. Cited below is the Supreme Court decision, where the Supreme Court of India upheld the removal of the illegal persons (about only 150-170 of them compared to the 40,000 in the country) based on the argument that India is not bound by the principle of non-refoulement. Additional context for the "crackdown" which was conducted by the NIA of the illegal human trafficking of Rohingyas. The criticism of India's policy towards Rohingyas isn't that they are breaking any rules, it is that they rules are not fair. I believe that is a more of an NPOV, but none of the sources cited in that paragraph reflect that. I am welcome to any thoughts and discussions about this. @Amicuswiki07: The materials coming under the motioned section are backed by reliable sources (like this). I am not seeing the implications you claim, like that "BJP have stopped the influx of Rohingya refugees" (where do you find such an implication?). --Mhhosseintalk17:46, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is a terrible page however. There is nothing about the subject other than Jammu detentions. There is also drumbeat about BJP. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:48, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think my point was more about how it read than how it is. To your point, the lack of other information gives it the perception that this page should be titled something more like the Deportation of Rohingyas in India. Amicuswiki07 (talk) 21:17, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As far as we know, only one woman was deported. The rest of her family is still in India. While we don't know, why she was deported, we can see that it was selective. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:36, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
