Just wanted to stop by for a review. After looking at the article and making a couple minor changes, I think that the article is good to go for GA status. The prose is well-written. The sources are quite good, and upon checking the Hume source, which yielded a large number of footnotes, I didn't find close paraphrasing. Images are informative and properly sourced, although I think that the coloration on the range map is far too light to be immediately noticeable. To the best of my knowledge, that kind of issue is not in the purview of GA criteria. The article seems sufficiently broad; considering that it's about an extinct parrot, the article size doesn't seem an issue.

All in all, an interesting, brief, but very informative article. I pass it for GA status. bibliomaniac15 22:19, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
