I have deleted a claim that the ship was re-rigged as a barque after Boissière bought her in the 1890s, as none of the sources cited substantiates the claim. However, it was very common to reduce clippers from full rig to a barque in their latter years, if they were switched from high-speed passenger work to economy cargo-carrying.
