His ethnicity

According to his Wikipedia bio his parents were black thus making him “African American.” But his photos and appearances in movies depict someone who is not even close to being black. Unless there was some unusual genetic defect in play, the Wikipedia description makes no sense. The only thing that seems possible was that one or both of his parents were of mixed race and very light-skinned, which nowadays in most people’s minds qualifies as black.
