stone work
[edit]Who did the stone work at the pavilion?
Answer: I know it's a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) constructed building, so I assume they did the stone work. Bkverve99 21:52, 28 August 2007 (UTC)bkverve99
There are two plaques on the pavilion... both giving different credit and dates. The plaque on the west side reads
ROCKY NECK STATE PARK SHELTER AND TERRACES COMPLETED BY WORKS PROGRESS ADMINISTRATION SPONSORED BY STATE PARK AND FORREST COMMISSION A.D. 1936
I'll track down the wording on the east plaque.
chronos3d 9-3-09
- The CCC history info would be explained in the free copy of the NRHP application documents of the pavilion building, if you sent a request to nr_reference (at) nps.gov. doncram (talk) 04:21, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
