Treat others with civility
[edit]Let's treat other people with simple courtesy. Let's not call people names, especially on a public forum like this. Funny and rude sometimes go together. How can we add to this page in a way that shows the best of Rockville, not the worst? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ehlersacm (talk • contribs) 22:22, 13 March 2007 (UTC).
School's Age
[edit]Just a note here Rockville High School IS NOT the SECOND OLDEST HIGH SCHOOL IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
The oldest high schools in the county are either Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Montgomery Blair, Richard Montgomery, Wheaton High School, Gaithersburg, Sherwoood High School, Peary High School ( Peary no longer exist) Damascus, and Springbrook High School.
I would gues that all these schools were built before 1968 with the exception of maybe Springbrook.
I know Richard Montgomery and Bethesada Chevy Chase Sherwood and Montgomery Blair were built in the mid 40s to early 50s. Wheaton, Gaithersburg, Peary, Damascus and Springbrook were built in the mid 50s to early 60s.
- Then, edit that fact and cite it.

[edit]Someone has been vandalizing this page using my first name and my last name in several sections. Please note that the recent vandalizations were not in fact done by me. I do not know who has done it, as they were not logged in and anonymous. I am even on the It's Academic team myself, so I assume you all would know I wouldn't go about poking fun at one of my own activities. Albertomg 05:21, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
I realize the sexual assault incident received a lot of news coverage, but unless the incident or individuals involved in the incident meet the criteria for their own article(s), or the event becomes significant beyond news reporting (think something like the Columbine High School massacre or Rachel's Challenge) I'm inclined to say that whole section about the alleged on-campus rape is a case of WP:NOTNEWS.
