There's no proof, no documented reference, that suggest that the bands singing in Catalan in the 90's received grants. That is an antiCatalan lie widely spread by the ultra-unionist groups in Catalonia. The following sentence is a lie too. There was enough market in Catalonia for Catalan rock, as they gathered easily thousands of people on their shows, while at the same time, the Spanish bands in Catalonia,such as Loquillo, would be happy with an attendance of one or two hundred people. And of course, tickets in their shows had to be payed, and they were by no means cheaper than the Spanish rock shows.
