I'd love to get a citation in here for the usage stats, and perhaps more recent ones as well (given that those in the article are from 1990). And is 500 Tg a correct figure for Australia? That's around a trillion dollars spent just on blasting in 1990 there! Exerda 16:26, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Rock blasting is a bit too restricitive, heading should be blasting, the reference to demolition blasting can be incorporated. Need reference to other methods and varients of explosives. Steve. Stevenxlead (talk) 18:03, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
