[edit]

In order for this template to be displayed on this page we need to have some information pertaining to BRAC and this facility. Because their is no information on the page, I am moving the templete here until the information can be uploaded. For more information, click here. TomStar81 03:32, 28 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No Mention of AFRES HQ?

[edit]

Air Force Reserve Headquarters has been located at Robins(on 2d Street) for quite some time. It's also home to the Band of the Air Force Reserve.

Also, there's no mention of the former 19th Bomb Wing, or the former 116th Bomb Wing(GANG).

This article needs to be re-worked....

[edit]

As someone who works in the History Office of WR-ALC, it is obvious that this article is not complete or entirely correct. There needs to be footnotes citing sources instead of just listing them randomly at the bottom of the page. You can't write an article and just put in the information that you deem important; everyone needs to be careful that what they put on the internet is factual. I agree. The article has very little footnotes or citations. I have added a citation template in hopes that it will get the attention it needs from appropriate users. Brinkley32 (talk) 22:49, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Over-the-horizon radar

[edit]

An over-the-horizon radar was built in the 1980's on Robins, to give a little bit of extra warning of an incoming submarine-launched ballistic missile, but was never more than minimal tested for fear of microwaving Savannah. I'm surprised that I can't find any info on it here or there or anywhere! --Pawyilee (talk) 13:03, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
