remove trivia
[edit]This is a good example of what Wikipedia is not supposed to be. I removed a couple of sentneces about the "full screen shot" etc. in which RLF can be seen in the movie. It may well be true, and indeed sourced, but that does not make it worthy of entry in an encyclopedia. He consulted on the film -- of passing importance in the story of his life. He appeared in the film as an extra -- of no real importance, except in that the studio attempted to capitalise on it, by citing him in their press releases. The exact scenes he appeared in -- utterly irrelevant to this article. BrainyBabe (talk) 18:26, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
The way you talk -- very annoying. He certainly seems to think of the film as a major event in his career, seeing as it implies that he is the foremost expert available to the film-makers. Also, he told me as much.
Fox condemned Theopompos as "a man who wrote slander, not history", but look at his so-called "contributions" to the AHISTORICAL film Alexander. This man is not a historian, he is the true slanderer, and a hypocrit to boot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.90.55.99 (talk) 05:24, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
What is this guy's last name?
[edit]Is it Lane Fox or Fox? --Malerooster (talk) 03:23, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
- Based on his children's names, I'm guessing it's "Lane Fox". --Demiurge1000 (talk) 03:35, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
Speaking of his children's names--I don't see why they should be mentioned in the personal section. Sounds like sales copy. No spouse is mentioned. I think that unless there is relevant interesting information about this section,, it should be removed. Lmlmss44 (talk) 03:43, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
