The lead says that he looted Peebles and brought back so much booty that he was called Robin Mendmarket. Is this vandalism? Speatle (talk) 12:27, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
They're not the same: wikt:booty (Plunder taken from an enemy in time of war...) vs wikt:treasure (A collection of valuable things; accumulated wealth; a stock of money, jewels, etc.). Why do you think "booty" is a vandalised word? Oxford dictionary lists it as both British and American English. Bazza (talk) 17:03, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
