Name Change
[edit]Why did Samuelson change his name to Summers? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.203.81.221 (talk) 15:11, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
- This should be addressed. I have found no good sources in a quick online search. Perhaps a published autobiography mentions the change? Presumably this was due to "Samuelson"'s "Jewishness", especially given the era the change occurred. The sources I've seen say Robert followed the example of an older brother, but I don't think http://wernercohn.com/The%20Name%20Changers.htm is a good source.
