Re: merger
[edit]No merger, please, because we have 2 different Shapiros here. Though perhaps confusion is understandable given that both were called "Robert", both were called "Shapiro", both were chemists, and both born 1935! But born on different days, studied and worked at different universities, died different years... I think there should be a note on the top of the this page: "Not to be confused with the chemist Robert H. Shapiro who discovered the Shapiro reaction." And on the other one "Not to be confused with the chemist Robert Shapiro, known for work on the origin of life." Kalidasa 777 (talk) 08:38, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
