Picture
[edit]Somebody please say that he doesn't need a picture to be important. Katagelophobia
- Pictures are nice but not necessary. However, he ought to be linked to from other places, at least list of people and philanthropist, and perhaps something music-related. Stan 22:27 Apr 23, 2003 (UTC)
Thank you, Stan. He has now been linked to philanthropists. Some individuals who I will not name don't seem to like people, often times centenarians, without pictures. I won't go any further than that. For purposes of sanity. Katty
Interesting logic "Katty", but don't get me wrong, Mayer is certainly a worthy individual, mostly because of his musical endeavors and philanthropic efforts. But, as you already know, the man is virtually unknown (as are most of the others on the list), mostly because of his "supposed" facelessness and lack of information on various web pages! I don't think this page needs to be linked to from any page connected to the novel "Super Folks" he's not the same Robert Mayer is he? I mean it's possible but I don't think so. Nope Just confirmed it, completely different person: http://www.aboutcomics.com/sfolks.htmlBriar Patch Wabbit 03:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wbm1058 (talk • contribs)
