This article does not completely cover Kanigher's work. I just wanted to get a stub up here. A student of DC comics or Kanigher is welcome to flesh this out.
The Comics Index at the end of Lepore (revised, 2015) may be better than GCD as it relies on a variety of sources to attempt to compile a more accurate list of her appearances with authors up to 1948. Kanigher first appears with the comic book Wonder Woman with some of the stories in issue 30 (July-August 1948), though his work is found in some WW stories in the occasional issue of Sensation Comics and Comics Cavalcade as early as 1945 (and 1948 again respectively). I have heard a number of people pronounce the middle part of his name like "nigh," which is not the pronunciation shown here, which is unsourced. It could be that they're simply worried that it might sound like they're using an offensive word, but I don't know. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 06:13, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
