Whistleblower complaint section
[edit]@Tedder:, I'm hoping to enlist your thoughts/Help on this, I've been doing some research on the website Popular.Info to try to determine where it falls in WP:RS. From what Ive found so far, it appears to me that it falls under WP:BLPSPS being owned, written, edited and published by Judd Legum. I'm not sure how much of the section you wrote sources pop.info compared to the other sources cited in the section. I'm not very familiar with the subject matter. I thought you would have a better understanding of it that I would and would have an easier time figuing out if there is a WP:BLP issue or not. Let me know what you think! - Hey Fusion2186, I know what you mean. I only used it for the one paragraph and made sure at least some of it is supported by the second source. I give Legum's site more credibility because (1) he's a known journalist and (2) popinfo is a Substack site (see also: Matt Taibbi, formerly Rolling Stone; Nick R. Martin, formerly Daily Beast). If you're concerned we might be best to at least have it discussed on WP:RSN so it's in the archives for others, but I tend to see Substacks from known authors as a site that is on a continuumm, somewhere between Geocities and New York Times. I also think there's probably some other verifiable sources if you have specific concerns inside the paragraph. tedder (talk) 23:14, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
