Another image
[edit]There's some nice footage of Robert Holmes with Barry Letts and Terrance Dicks in the "Made for War" documentary on the Sontaran Experiment DVD. I don't know how to make screencaps myself, but if someone else does and has access to the DVD it might be a nice image source for the Doctor Who section. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 07:11, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Robert holmes.jpg
[edit]Image:Robert holmes.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Doctor Who sources & fact-check
[edit]This edit by 66.69.18.67 introduced a number of spelling and grammatical errors, but also some new material including some Doctor Who trivia, such as that Holmes insisted K-9 be kept on as a regular. I've added back what the edit deleted, and kept the new material, but it would be good if someone could find references for the statements, and possibly move them to more relevant pages. For instance the edit suggested the facts that Holmes didn't write for DW between 1978-1984 was his decision, while the article The Caves of Androzani states "Nathan-Turner had been keen to use writers new to the show instead". --Cedderstk 09:20, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Shoestring
[edit]The Shoestring (TV series) episode list shows two episodes credited to William Hood as being a pseudonym for Holmes. That may be correct - Holmes is also credited as script editor on those two - but where does that information come from ? -- Beardo (talk) 01:24, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
