Article is repetitive

This page needs some work to merge the first part of the article with the more specific sections below. The data in the two sections repeats a timeline of his life and death and is at time contradictory. Jenafalt (talk) 07:10, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've made an attempt to do this myslef and have cut down the first section, removing repitition and inserting other text into appropriate sections where necessary.
