Many "Robert David Jackson"s?
[edit]It seems the name "Robert David Jackson" appears in other articles but in each one it refers to another person. So far I've seen it in "William Welton (missionary)" and "Shen-kuang-szu Incident". Those do not link here anymore and I have added a hidden note (<--like this-->) to each of them to clarify the situation. what should be done to clarify any confusion?
- Robert David Jackson (diplomat) - this one is good but isn't the name too possibly common for there to be another diplomat?
- Robert Jackson (diplomat) - would be confusing, especially with the existence of the more confusing Robert Jackson (Canadian politician) which is someone else
- Robert David Jackson (Canadian diplomat) - is this better?
- "David Jackson (diplomat)" OR "David Jackson (Canadian diplomat)" ; he was called "David" by his family (per the references already in this article) and his name is written as "David Jackson" in "International Control Commission so possibly that's how he was known?
- "Robert D. Jackson" there's this one too.. maybe it's better?
I'm lost, I hope someone can help with their opinion. RamiPat (talk) 12:40, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
