To uphold the quality of Wikipedia:Good articles, all articles listed as Good articles are being reviewed against the GA criteria as part of the GA project quality task force. While all the hard work that has gone into this article is appreciated, unfortunately, as of September 6, 2009, this article fails to satisfy the criteria, as detailed below. For that reason, the article has been delisted from WP:GA. However, if improvements are made bringing the article up to standards, the article may be nominated at WP:GAN. If you feel this decision has been made in error, you may seek remediation at WP:GAR.

  • Many sections are completely uncited, thus failing GA criterion 2.
  • Many sections look like they've been copied out of the College's prospectus, and have no place in an encyclopedia article about the College. General graduation requirements for students include (excluding the Prep year) and Other clubs are just two examples.
  • About half of the article is written as a series of (usually uncited) lists.
  • The only citation in Notable faculty (former and current) is in the form of an external link, and there are other external links throughout the article. External links should appear only in the External linkssection.
  • There is a request for citation tag in History that needs to be dealt with.
  • Some parts of this article are written in a self-congratulatory style that is clearly not neutral. For instance: "Student Council members visit many high schools in Istanbul and advertise for this great event ... This is a great achievement, given the limited budget of the Student Council."
